In your first unit of study this year we will dive into a Biotechnology Challenge. This challenge will allow you the opportunity to engage in some of the scientific practices and learning exercises that will be integral to your study of Biology. You should also get a good sense of the pace, level of scholarship, and amount of independence and collaboration necessary for Advanced Biology. Furthermore, this unit will provide a foundation for our subsequent scholarship this year.

Become familiar with the components and expectations of a Scientific Lab Notebook at the Advanced Level.

Apply the concepts of metabolic activity to The Biotech Challenge.
